Category: ontario,canada | Posted: Mon Oct 16, 2006 3:25 pm hello from the cold flat!!!LOL!!!! we went down to 36 degrees last night ..and yes...still no heat!!! i am getting really aggravated now ..they say it will be on by the end of business hours on tuesday!!!if it isn't i shall have a large hissy fit!!!!well maybe not a fit but i shall certainly have words with the powers that be...they knew this was a problem in July ...why did they not take care of it then??? i went to the farmers market the other day and bought some Prairie Tulips ..i had never seen them before and of course my camera is on the blink so i can't post a pic but they are the most lovely things i have seen in a long time ...purple and white...the gentleman who sold them to me said they last up to 2 weeks ..i am happy about that as they are nice to look at!!!! Category: ontario,canada | Posted: Thu Oct 12, 2006 4:51 pm thank you so much for all the well wishes ..it meant a lot to me!!!! unfortunately the health issues are some thing that will not go away ...but i am learning to live with them all!!!!LOL!!!!! the heat should be on soon ...they are working on the boiler and i hope they get it fixed soon ...we are supposed to go down to 34 tonight and ....are you ready for this????? maybe WET SNOW overnight ....YUCK!!!!!!i am just not ready for this!!!! oh well as my grandma used to say "you get it ...you live with it"!!!! the baby is growing like a weed..and she is so bright and does not like to sleep in her bed ...she wants to be where the action is !!!!! thanks again all ....wendy This blog entry has been viewed 406 times

Category: ontario,canada | Posted: Sat Sep 30, 2006 3:56 pm well...i am a grandma again...#9 for me ...a little girl..8lbs.1 oz....her name is Sian (pronounced sigh-ann) and she is as cute as a bug.....that makes 4 girls and 5 boys ...elyse 14,jillian 11,eirian 3.sian new,zachary 13,dalton 11,liam 8 ,marcus 5,damian 6 ..and i still have one daughter who hasn't had any yet!!!!she says if she hasn't had one by 35 she won't have any...she is 27 now...i think she is happy being an aunt!!!it was 2 degrees this morning so i hope they turn the heat on in the flats soon...just a tad chilly in here today and we are expecting rain all weekend!!!just like being back in Liverpool...that's where i grew up...i have been here in Canada for 49 years and just 3 years ago i found all my brothers and sisters back in England...it is a very long and strange story......i have seen 2 of them as they came for a visit...i hope to go there next year....well that's it for now...ta-ra!!!!
