I love this little plant. It is great as a ground cover, very low maintenance, gradually increases in size, but never invasive. Can grow successfully on a slope. The short iris leaves appear to give motion to the garden. Interesting texture. I grow this iris more for its foliage than for its flower. The flower is just a bonus.
