There's a reason Queen Palms are so cheap! If you can grow a nice healthy one, you'll be sawing off dead palm fronds every month until you can't reach them anymore. As one frond at the bottom of the canopy dies, a new one is sent out at the top. When this palm blooms, it bears a large infloresence that attracts hornets, wasps, and bees. Shortly after dropping the infloresence, fruit will begin to grow on the same branch creating a rotting, sticky mess under the tree. If the tree has a magnesium malnourishment, it is prone to "frizzle-top." This is when the new palm fronds are shorter than normal, shrivled, and often light green or yellow. My opinion: spend the extra money and get a better type of palm!
