This is a beautiful shade plant, from the 'Dragon Wing Series', growing up to 15 inches tall with a spread of up to 18 inches.
These plants bloom constantly, all year round in the tropics. They have angel-wing shaped, dark green leaves that are spectacularly glossy with huge panicles of flowers cascading downwards. The 'Dragon Wing Series' offers two colours - red and pink.
This is a plant with fantastic heat tolerance and it can withstand dry conditions as well. It prefers part sun and with its beautiful arching pendulous habit it makes an ideal plant for hanging baskets and containers. |
