They do travel well. I have mine by accident. I'm guessing it was in with the clump of lamium I picked up or it was here already :)

The flowers are stunning, but the foliage on them looks a bit battered.

Checked your link for my hodgkin, these are one of the few that does come back each year. However my blue iris, which I think is the Reticulata??...
I got the info from a tv programme I'm watching at the minute called the a-z of gardening. It said how the bulb Iris's can struggle to come back...

i believe so. . . they need some really hot weather through summer and i just dont get it here in england. my hodgkins will be back though :-D
