Sj-you are right. It is only a single Holly Hock. I guess I was seeing stars with it being so tall. Thank you for the codo's. The now dead stalk is still standing tall even through our winter winds and snows. Amazing.

Sjoerd we have amended clay soil. Plus it is right up against our deck and railing which I'm sure helps support it. We will have to see if the seeds from this Hollyhock will grow as tall. Yes it was a truly amazing sight.
