Miss Liberty, my favorite aunt used to slice the okra, place it on a cookie sheet in a single layer, quick freeze it and pop it into a freezer bag. She fried up the best okra I ever tasted.
Haha they are doing abnormally well, it seems "Finally into a house with a yard. Let the veggies grow!!" haha!
My okra is small, but growing. Okra likes hot weather. I guess we will use okra in soup mostly because we aren't into fried foods often. Still, steamed okra is delicious too.
