WARE--Thanks for your nice comments. I'm glad that you found the posting interesting.

KAY--You say the nicest things. Oh meid--that food WAS scrummy. The waistline is back to normal, I am happy to report; however, that is more due to this horrendous flu that I have contracted. Gad!--You go away for a few days of fun and you come back with a virus. Tch. There's no justice. :-?

Sjoerd--I am so glad I caught your photos!! Vienna looks like a beautiful city to visit, especially during Christmas. I am glad you had a great vacation & on such short notice too! All the better, these spontaneous jaunts. I am also impressed with your (& your bride's stamina). Did I read you travelled for 12 hours? Or was it 12 hours from teatime at home to arrival in Vienna?

Sorry to hear that you were under the weather. Hope that is over, and you're feeling like eating again! :D

CAYUGA--I'm glad that you didn't miss them as well. It is a gorgeous city to visit. The 12 hours was the duration of the train trip from A'dam to Vienna.

Hahaha KAY-- what are you like!
I am feeling better now thanks and my tum is in good shape as well. Thank you very much. :D
