    Toni, time for your daily update--how is the bite doing? No swelling and very little redness, I hope.

    No swelling, no redness around the area. The bite itself is not nearly as puffy as it was, I can poke it with my finger and there is no pain or tenderness.

    A week from Wed I have my next visit with the Oncologist, his lab tech always draws out a pint or two of blood, wonder what the bite and antibiotics will do to their test results.

    Those 'wellies' are definitely a steam bath this time of year! I wear mine depending on what I am doing out there. Also, sneakers are very miserable this time of year. And some jobs are just not safe with flip flops on. Here we call the 'wellies' barn boots.
