Thank you guys for your nice comments.

I am hoping to start canning those strawberries in 2-3 weeks. It's hard to predict with the weather doing crazy.
Well, we are in for some sunny and warm weather this weekend--so who knows.

I've given up trying to predict the weather Sjoerd...it's been such a roller coaster here this year.
Everything looks wonderful as always Sjoerd. Mmmm...plums! And Josephine is stunning!

I can't get over all those plums! I am wondering what the entire tree looks like -- is it large or small? I've never seen a plum tree. The flowers that caught my eye the most are the Trollius and the Cistus Purpureus -- again, flowers I've never seen here. The clematis are beautiful... What a great place your lottie is!!! There is so much going on. What is a brassica?

Hello Miss Beans--Brassicas are the veg group that include Broccooli, cabbages, Cauliflowers etc.
The whole tree's branches look just like the pics that I posted. It is well and truly loaded this year.
I try and keep my plum tree small, but it is taller than 2 leters so far.
After the harvest I shall lay into it with the loppers.

Your garden is well on its way, Sjoerd. I know how good that first berry harvest tastes. Do your Forget-Me-Nots self-seed? I've just planted some in a pot and they're growing, but I'm wondering if I should plant them in my border if they spread. Enjoy the future harvests and keep us informed.

GardenGater--Yes my Forget-Me-Nots most definately self-seed. All the hundreds (if not thousands) of plants that you may have seen on my lottie pics all came from one small pack of seeds ten years ago or so.
As long as you don't mind having them all over the place, plant them out. They are very easy to pull out once they have bloomed-out.
I like having them all over the place and I actually shake the pulled-out plants vigorously to make the seeds fall off all over the flower garden when I am clearing them up.

I'm glad to hear that you have some Brassicas, DaisyB. Be sure and show some pics when you harvest those, ok? I'm always interested to know which types folks use and how pleased they are with the harvest.
