amaryllis plants, hello from Farmers Branch,TX

    Hi Ann from another Ann... I am not from Texas, but I lived there for 10 years...

    Welcome here. I live in Missouri now, but have lived in several states.

    I have an amaryllis plant that I started from seed from another friend in TX. This is its 3rd or 4th year, so I am hoping it will bloom next winter. A website I saved once [and lost], said they can be started from seed but they take up to 5 years to bloom. I don't recall anything about putting them in the dark though?
