    I have never seen Moose, let alone albino moose.

    It is my understanding that all albino type animals are protected from hunting with stiff fines for violators that are caught. There are also stiff fines for anyone trying to mount such an animal, or displaying one. Here in Wisconsin we don't have a Moose hunting season, because we don't have many Moose. Not sure about Michigan, there may be Moose further north in the UP. There is an area west of us about 15 miles, near Boulder Junction, that seems to produce an inordinate amount of albino deer. I have seen them on several occasions. That's quite a sight, and the people there are very protective of them.
