Your frogs sound like song birds, singing up a storm when other sounds compete!

We now have spring peepers that have just started peeping at dusk.

Yes, they are strange things. I had never heard of that sort of behaviour. I wondered if it was the vibrations that the rumbling train makes as it goes back and forth to its destinations along the line. It makes the soil move in the garden.

It is a guess, that's for sure....but what I can't twig is WHY the vibration would trigger croaking. There must be a secret of nature in there somewhere. Ach, I shall sleep on it. Seeya later, I'm going to check my eyelids for pinholes now.

@Sjoerd Yes mate, just out of hibernation with the hedgehogs :) In actual fact I have had a problem that has limited my screen time. I have lost the sight of my right eye (glaucoma) and 7 weeks ago I had a serious problem with my left eye. That is being dealt with but my vision was very limited and so computer and TV was seriously affected. Much improved now and I see the specialist again a week tomorrow.
I thought i would update you on our resident pair of nightly visitors. My sentry light has gone on the blink so only IR clips I'm afraid. If you turn your sound on you will hear the submissive sounds of the vixen.

Ach--sorry to hear about your eye probs. Have they given you drops to use? Have they discussed the placing of a shunt to keep the pressure down? I am really crossing my fingers that your docs will be able to do something for you.

My trail cam isn't working and I do not know why...yet, but I can certainly enjoy yours. I so enjoy your vids, even without colour. I like it that your films have sound, but also show the outside temp (-3º) at the time. It is; dare I say it, a very cool specification.
Take good care and stay in touch, mate.
