Thanks so much, KAY--Great hearing from you again. I feel bad for you that you are not having enough moisture there. I hope that changes as winter approaches. Glad you liked the posting NIGHTOWL--I am getting so much enjoyment out of that little house.
Sojerd, your little house looks more cosy each time you post a picture of it and I must say the "sort of thing" fits the little house perfectly. I noticed that you had a hacksaw in the photo with the "sort of thing" and is wandering whether you used the hacksaw to cut the wood?
I showed the design of brackets to DH. He said he thinks he can do that.We replace some of siding and fascia boards with Hardy board. They are made of cement. The area having trouble with gutter-tilled into house too much. And in winter causes roof ice. Got electric lines on them now.I would like . rain barrels. But this year 12 inches below normal very dry drought.
KK--I did not use the hacksaw for the "sort of thing's". I used the hacksaw to cut the plastic guttering. I cut the "sort of things" with a decoupeerzaag. I am not sure what to call that in english. Hang on, I looked it up--it is an electrical "jig saw". That's good K'KID--Be sure and post pics when your work is done, Oké?
What a great looking little house. How big is it? A great idea you came up with for moving your rainwater. Awesome.
Hi Cariboo--Thanks for the nice compliment for the little garden house. The dimensions of the house are: Height--2.5 meters (from the cutting field to the apex) Width---3.5 meters (across the front) Depth---2.75 meters (the sides) I also appreciate your complimentary words concerning the rainwater gathering and displacement. Thanks.
