Ooh pretty. I am finishing up a quilt for my daughter. It's a little slower paced than my other quilts because she fell in love with a crazy quilt bag I made for her and of course her favorite part was all of the embroidery. I love the lace trim around the pink hearts, I will have to remember that for a future quilt. I collect handmade old lace wherever we travel. I just can't pass by all that handiwork, no matter what the condition. My grandmother made lace but she passed away before she taught me how. If I ever get a chance to take a class in lacemaking, I am so there!
I've made a lot of quilts but just recently decided I should make them for my grandchildren. I think it started with the Amish quilt that I made for Fintin. Now, I need to make one for Ben and Jacob, just not pink hearts. I'll be busy for a time but will eventually get them done. Thanks for all the good things you've said about Erin's quilt. dooley
Erin's quilt is lovely, you are so good with those quilts dooley. I had to laugh at Ben's response, poor chap. I'm feeling a bit impatient now, because you've described your next two projects and I want to see them.
Me, me, I want it....me! hehehe. That quilt is just devine, no wonder she went hom hugging it! I would to. Mum made mine a couple of years ago, so I reakon it's time I dropped a few hints for a new one, and I have to say, I am rather taken with the hearts!
