Welcome Ca_sister. Yes please show off your knitting projects. We enjoy seeing what other handi work others do.
Hellooo Ca_sister and welcome to our Stew .I've been waiting for you.I'm here in central Texas.I would love to hear about all your knitting and other handy work.We now have 3 sisters on here . Is their another one lerking about? That would be great if their is.
I'm working on two afghans and several cross-stitch Christmas ornaments right now. The afghans are both crochet and one is a 'mile a minute' pattern in primary colors for my middle son, Ryan. The other is a sampler afghan (63 blocks, all different stitches) in blue and ivory for my living room. I'll post pictures if I ever get them finished. I have a back yard but there are no plants in it because it's full of chickens. They're part of my youngest son's FFA (Future Farmers of America) project.
Well, we can't have chickens here but we have wild rabbits and squirrels. They come in our yard and "tease" Fred knowing he can't get out to get them. And my husband doesn't help, he feeds them apples. I don't do many crafts anymore but I guess if I don't want to buy toys from China I better start doing some quilting or something. Wannabe
We do have another sister who lives in Phoenix. She would dearly love to be here too but her son-in-law hasn't had time to do anything with her computer. She is already to register if he ever gets the computer hooked up and ready for her. Her husband is on disability and they have limited resources to do things like that for themselves. She has flowers and does crafts and her husband does wonderful woodworking projects. Beautiful and intricate things. Maybe soon there will be four sisters. dooley
Hello Ca_sister! Glad you buckled to the pressure and joined the fun. Don't worry about that black thumb, heck , most of my plants live in spite of me, not because of me.
Oh Dooley that will be great haveing all 4 sisses here.I can't wait to see har work and his too.Maybe soon.
