I have hollyhocks,4O'Clocks and blue pea seeds in coffee filter-ziplock right now. Little white shoots are visible already - in 6 days!! They are in west facing window sill.

Is it possible to start very tiny seeds this way? How do you do it with Coleus?

    starting seeds

I'm in Pa and still very cold, but this year I have planted alot of seeds in soda bottles and placed outside for a new wintersowing project. I am hoping this gives me a good start on seedlings come spring!

I haven't forgotten about getting a picture of my colues seeds. (that I just planted) There's about 2 dozen very tiny plants. Been abit busy here, but will get those pictures soon. I used the end of a planter spike (small stake) point to move them into my potting soil.

This geranium seed will be the first time I've started them from a seed. I sure hope it does good for me. It was taken from a red flower.
