I am so sorry :'( I write this with tears in my eyes because I think of the cats in our neighborhood and I'd miss everyone of them. I don't know how some people can be so mean.

He got hold of some kind of neuro toxin, not the usual rat poison that makes them hemorhage to death. I am trying to figure out who would have such a thing around here. He was having major seizures [I know seizures as I get them myself.] and couldnt walk, he was in awful shape. Thank you.

You know that if your cat eats a mouse that has eaten poison, then your cat will ingest the poison as well. Maybe someone in your area is laying out mice poison and your cat ate one? Are you sure it's poison? My best doggie ever Teddy came down really sick all of a sudden and died. In my heart of hearts I felt he was poisoned too...

Yes, I am aware that if they eat a poisoned animal, they will also be poisoned. Some friends here asked if it might be a snakebite ? I dont know, I didnt think to look. We do have poisonous snakes around here: copperheads, rattlers, and cottonmouths. I will have to look those up and see what kind of poison they use.
