tooty, My dad was born in northwest Wisconsin on a small farm. He came out to Washington for his residency, met my mom, and kept complaining about the rain here. After he was finished with school, Mom said, "well, we're moving back to Wisconsin, away from the rain, right?" Dad: "No way am I going back to those cold winters."

I feel the same way, we are complaining of too much rain here, but when compared to drought, we feel pretty lucky to be here. Wish we could send some rain your way.

Karrma I know a lot of people that feel that way about snow. But I love the change in the seasons and the snow. I go X-skiing, and do some snowshoeing with my honey. But I know from being out in Oregon for a few weeks years ago that you can go to the mountains and ski almost anytime of year.

Here in Wisconsin we have been blessed with quite a few rain showers. Last night we had almost 2" :-D
I see some parts of Texas will be getting rain today. :-D :-D I would love to send all those drought areas some of our rain too. :stew1:
