Cayuga....I keep teasing my husband about doing the cooking but it would be wonderful if he would take on the cooking when he retires...I know i am just dreaming because I could not take over any of his work, maybe when we go to senior living.

Sherry8--My dad took on the cooking when my parents retired....in self defense! Our mother was never much of a cook! Not that I am not suggesting that you suddenly lose your cooking skills.

Cayuga Morning...Not sure how good he could get....I can only eat so many eggs...LOL
I do enjoy cooking and baking and I just can't picture him making a better pie crust than I make....I think I will most likely just be happy with him doing all of the clean up like he has been doing now

Hey Tina, Thank you! It feels so nice to have others appreciate my garden. It is at the end of its growth right now. A big mess! I spent a chunk of time cutting it all back last weekend in preparation for winter. But thanks for your comment.

Sherry--I still make the pies in our house! I make a mean crust too. I also do a chicken & turkey pot pies, delish! And of course Thanksgiving & X-mas & holiday dinners are a joint affair.
