Autumn blooms in Norway

    How lovely! That is what I like about this site . . . I see flowers that I have never seen before. My favorite . . . well . . . it is a tie between the Gentiana and the Double Colchicums . . . I have never seen these . . . do I live a sheltered life, or what???? @;~)

    :D SoJ, I don't think so. I also get to see blooms and plants I've never seen before and I'm very glad I do!

    Bunkie, in-and-out-flowers is what I call the plants that can't take our winter and will have to be dug up and brought inside before or just after the first frost. For instance Dahlias, Petunias, Fuchsias and those Sparaxis. I usually either forget about them or remember too late so I try to avoid them no matter how pretty they are.

    I love them all but that orange and deep red Sparaxis it just so fantastic.

    Thank you Glenda, they are lovely. I'm going to try and dig them up when the frost comes and save them for next year.

    Thank you. The few blooms we have left are doing their best to brighten up the borders. It's something special about the last ones.
