sorry i didn't post a link to that sjoerd. here's the molds i bought...

    http://www.amazon.com/Tovolo-Yellow-Gro ... 947&sr=1-1

they we only nine something dollars on sale then. the plastic is food safe.

you fill the mold up, then put the bottom on and place them in a tray to freeze. i like not having to deal with the wooden sticks, washing, etc... and the little dish attached to the stick does well collecting the drips as you mentioned. so far we really like these molds.

i've never made popsicles before except for the ice cube tray ones, so i'm having such fun with these molds!

    Thanks very much, Bunkie.
I will have a look in town to be sure that no one has them then I will hit the internet ordering houses.
The popsicles are disappearing at an alarming rate here. Tomorrow is due to be quite warm again, so there goes a few more, I reckon.
    Anyway...thanks again.

you're very welcome sjoerd! it's still in the 40Fs here at night, and hit 60F today with rain that made it very chilly. we're heading for the upper 80's here in a couple of days, so tomorrow, i must get hopping and make a bunch of popsicles....and....i think i have enough strawberries to pick to do what you did! yum! :D

or maybe something strawberry with a chocolatey taste... :D
