The armoire and the dresser are fantastic Ronni. What a wonderful colour they are now and what a great job the lady did on them both for you. The desk looks so much better than it did before and, hopefully, you'll have no more neck and back pain when you use it. I can see why you're so proud of your furniture. :)

Thanks Donna and Eileen. I'm really happy with it and love the way it looks. It's completely functional too...it's given me lots of storage space which I really needed. If I get desperate for me, I can put doors on the armoire and use that space for storage, too, though I really like the way it looks with the decorative shelves.

I've been looking for a comforter or duvet set to compliment my red furniture and yellow walls and accents. Currently I'm just using all white. I found the perfect duvet set for my decor at Ikea! We don't have an Ikea here in Nashville, but friends of mine are traveling to Atlanta this week to visit family, and they always shop at the Ikea there. So they're going to pick the set up for me....saves me $10 in shipping costs!

    What do y'all think?

Beautiful!! So fresh and clean looking and just the right colours to compliment your furniture. Do take another photograph when you have it on your bed as I'd love to see the it alongside the armoire and dresser. You have good taste Ronni as I would have picked that bedding too. :)

Thanks Eileen, and yes, that was exactly my thought....fresh and clean, and sort of crisp looking!

You can be sure I'll take more photos. I just wish I had the white headboard that's in the picture, I love the way that looks! Oh well, at least mine won't clash with the set...it's a fake wrought iron in a very light bronze color, sort of......well, here, let me just show you:

The color is actually warmer in person than the picture shows. I don't think it's going to look bad with the duvet set, do you?

No, not at all Ronni. In fact I think it's going to look perfect. It's not solid or a colour that will clash so there should be no problems with it. I must check out our Ikea store and see what they have on offer as I love the bed set you're getting and something similar would look good in our bedroom.

Everything looks great, so coordinated. I think the bedding is going to be perfect.

Very pretty! What a great idea to paint them in the red milk paint. Enjoy your new furniture!

Love what you've done. I love the colours you have and they'll go very very well to make a warm and cozy atmosphere in the room. The handles and knobs you have are super nice too. Where did you find them?

It is always so satisfying when it all comes together just like planned!! :) :) :)

The desk looks much better and I like the contrast of the top to bottom. I like the distressed look but not when it is done really heavily. I like just a bit.

What kind of chair do you have to go with the desk? Are you going to make it match in that are you going to distress it? Leave the seat plain? OR is your chair a completely different computer desk type of chair?
