Got the tunnel ready for this years sales, we'll be only opening by appointment, and doing the odd market/car boot this year I've been asked to do a talk at the cactus society meeting this month too

Roof came off the main shed today A few tears to the cactus house roof which I repaired with tape. Fortunately the metal sheets bounced off the roof without causing too much damage. Got some major re roofing to do when the storms go Cacti are all ok though
I'm glad YOU are OK, the cacti are just a bonus. And I hope your roof stopped its fleeing attempt not far from your house. Those things are dangerous in free flight on high winds.
I saw an clip report on youtube this morning that those storms were covering vast areas including yours! I thought to myself they are gonna be fine! How wrong! I suppose the chunnel is still dry with its pumps and all? On the bright side, you get a new roof and surely will not have to fix it again!
He's actually been working his socks off all day today, and yesterday tried to keep the sheets on with brute force and concrete blocks, to no avail. After the wind has finally gone, and we have mopped up the puddles inside, we'll have to get a new roof on - with tiles this time!
