Birds eyes.

    A "Haematopus bachmani" Whoa - can't say that remotely crossed my mind (meaning I've never heard of it) ;) ;) ;)

    Honestly I don't know this bird at all and don't believe I've ever seen it. Definitely does have a unique beak though. About the size of a crow?

    Ok - now the grey/brown bird.........hmmmm what pops to mind is sparrow (but I kinda think that is too simplistic)

    Here is a picture I took today, there are 12 oystercatchers, yes 12. The new bird is not a sparrow.

    I give up. How could I think a wren was a snipe when I have a wren in my garden.:(

    The only bird that keeps coming to mind is a chickadee but I'm really not thinking it is that.

    OK. I'll put you out of your misery, I was sure you would get close with the Downy woodpecker, and I might of given you it, this one however is the hairy. Do you want anymore eyes?
