Hello Bunkie-- Say, why don't you show the inside of your green house-tunnel? I am wondering how it is looking. BTW-- I have heard that if one eats too many duck eggs it can lead to waddling--have you noticed this side-effect?
bwahahahaha! nope, no waddling here...yet...sjoerd! i'm readying to clean up the greenhouse very soon between planting seeds. we have some new tables and are trying to figure out how to make legs for them. soon as i get it together, i'll post pics! btw, we've gotten 8, EIGHT, eggs each day for the last two days!!! and we have 9 girls....someone's holding out on us?!
That's a great record, Bunkie--I wonder who's holding out. It sounds like hiring a private eye to solve it is eggzactly what you need to do here.
soon jerry, soon. it's still snowing here. this morning i saw 8 eggs, barely visible in the snow, and went to gather them. Lizzie is now coming in to help me cause she's missing her partner Curly seems and lost without him. we're looking for another dog to adopt. think we found one called 'Prince Charming'!!! mrgreen: waiting to hear from the shelter. anyway, i go and pick 7 eggs up and can't find the other one???! i look over at the door and there's Lizzie standing there with an egg on the ground in front of her! i said ok, and let her have it. she brought it in the house and is cuddling it like a baby! she has taken it outside and lays by it?! we gotta find another pup and quick, before that egg hatches
HAPPY DANCE!!! after three days of going back and forth to town, we finally found Sammy and brought him home with us yesterday. Lizzie's really happy! he rode in the car pretty well...drooled a little and threw up once. he's a three and a half month old border collie. sweetest little thing. very leggy and going to be a big pup we think. on their first meeting, lizzie and sammy touched noses and the play was on! they bounced back and forth in their crouching 'fake 'i'm-going-to-get-you' stances. they haad a ball. this morning, lizzie taught sammy how to dig holes and feed the ducks! the goats, thelma and louise, so far, have just watched him. pete thinks he's cool. the verdict is out with tuxie! we're all breathing a sigh of relief here, a happy one! pics as soon as i find our camera!
Heh heh heh...never a dull moment there, eh Bunkie? Well, its good news that Sammy is fitting in oké. Looking foreward to some pics when you locate the camera.
here we go with pics of the new kid! new pup sammy...we'll have to teach him to come... there he is... and again... a happy sammy... sammy running... sammy meets lizzie... sammy and lizzie posing... looks like we got another 'lert' (alert)... sammy mole hunting... lizzie teaches him everything... let the games begin... i think she's gonna keep him...
yes daisy, they're doig really well! sammy is a he and is 3 and a half months old. by the looks of his big big big paws and long long legs, we think he may get bigger than lizzie!
the day before yesterday sammy and i saw a 'V' of geese flying North! and i saw a robin! woohoo, spring is on its way!
