Sjoerd, we're getting cold temps and snow for the next couple of days...I spoke too soon! :D

The ducks ate a little of the sprouts. I think they want me to cut it up for them. Unlike chickens, they can't break stuff up with their flat beaks. I ended up tearing the sprouts in pieces and they gobbled them up! A little more work than a chicken, but a bigger egg result! :D

I am surprised that the duckies can't "graze" the grass....the ducks here had no troubel at all grazing my low campanula's. :-x gurrrrrrr.

I love it. Makes me wish I had a grandchild. I could do that.

Thanks bunkie for that few minutes of pure joy.

Loved it, but I would eat the seeds before they ever got planted!

Woke up to a snowstorm this morning...they call it poor man's fertilizer...still coming down for hours now...

The ducks don't seem to mind it...

Good thing we didn't put any plants out yet...

Poor hummer in the snow...at least their feed's not frozen...

Good to see the activity there. Sorry about the snow, though. Imagine a hummer in the snow! is that crazy, 'er wot!

That last foto looks to me like an otter poking its head out of the water.

    I guess that I have a "spring fever". ;)
