Nope. Not yet. No tulips have bloomed yet. Maybe in the next few days? Temps are really high now..could wear just a t-shirt. I was out there in the village all day yesterday and could tell the difference between morning and evening. (buds opening, etc)

Thank you Cherylad, Philip, Donna, Eileen and Jewel (yes, these are wild... I found them in the woods about 70-80 km away from my town) and there were so many I just had to take a few home. Don't seem to have a problem multiplying. I love them. A bit too small... but I don't mind MORE FRESH PICS If you click on them, they have names...just in case!
Beautiful shots Calin. I almost like the ones of bulbs just emerging from the soil as much as the shots of the flowers themselves. The older I get, the more I appreciate the anticipation of things.
I wonder if your Erythronium in a variation or hybrid of Erythronium americanum which grow wild here. Yours looks like it except the leaves are a bit darker and the flower is white instead of yellow.
Thank you ALL! Well... I also wonder how come I recognize so many wild plants from the woods and wilderness in the US. I'd say it's a walk through the woods I am familiar with. I am sure there are many kinds and colors of the same plant I've seen pics of white, yellow and pink Eryth. Only white ones in the parts I roam
