I vote for number 2. It looks the richest to me, and I like how the branch tips stick up out of the water. The pier bits on one and three distract my focus somewhat. Whatever exposure or framing you choose---the picture remains stunning.
Here in this photo I could get the blemish from the lights and the reflection of them on the water...can you tell the difference? I kind of feel like that is cheating when you take away the blemishes.....
Sherry....do not feel bad about removing the blemishes. It is the 21st century, the possibility is there---just use it and move on. hahaha. No but seriously, there is no harm in doing that. Really beautiful shots now. You can be very proud.
I would not be concerned about minor 'fixes' to the photograph. Today the industry accepts changes. A friend of mine in one of his published books noticed after the book was printed, that a monument, while prominent in the town square, was removed as the publishing company 'cleaned up' the background of an old town picture. I have looked at photographic glass plates well over a hundred years old, where the photographer had removed unwanted portions. In a job for a town publication I removed all wires and utility poles from the photograph, depicting what would eventually happen. Two years later the wires and poles were gone. Go with the pix you removed the lights from. Good luck!! Jerry
Of the original four i liked No 1 and No 4,..of the new two images i prefer No 1. They are all very beautiful images and hold a person to,..look in.
