Cantaloupe female flowers don't blossom or die

    What Odif says is completely right. I have that the same experience with my own melons, courgettes, bell peppers and so forth.

    You know, Outgoing— container gardening, greenhouse gardening and open air, full ground are in fact three different disciplines requiring three different techniques. I do not have much experience with container gardening, other than keeping house plants, so I am not sure if I can help you much. I will keep reading your thread though. Fingers crossed for you, mate.

    I have a medium sized bulb and took the photo here.
    Hope it keeps green and don't turn yellow and shrink.
    It is about 1.5cm diameter.

    It looks like is growing. About 2cm thick.

    The baby cantaloupe now is 8cm in size.
    Not sure when to start putting a string to support it?
