    Thank you all, I appreciate all your good comments. I have really enjoyed the challenge of documenting the birds that visit my garden. Until this winter I had never photographed a bird...maybe a duck or two.
    I accidently caught a hummingbird once...did not even realize it until I printed the photo :rolleyes: .

    Maybe your just a born eye for photography.
    i never get that many cardinals in one spot.
    I have the red belly woodpecker, an about 4 others here.
    They are beautiful birds.
    Are the birds coming for spring now ?
    hummers ?

    besewn...thank you,they should start coming. I have a time table of approximate migration, I need to check it.
    sjoerd...thankyou too, I think it is clematis. I needed a change of seasons.
