We will be eating three meals with Lisa,Kenny and the grandsons tomorrow. Breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon and muffins (blueberry and chocolate chip/banana).
Lunch will be steaks that Kenny will grill outside for us, twice baked potatoes, salad and rolls.
    Supper will be Frito Pies.
In between times there will be lots of cookies, candy and apple pie.

Just had the dinner, as traditional as it can get. The brussel sprouts were gorgeous, the gravy was playfully splashed on the roast potatoes and the turkey... well it was just turkey.

    BURP!

My mother fixed a traditional dinner. We had a prime rib roast, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, Brussels sprouts with roast chestnuts and some broccoli for me as I dislike sprouts. And gravy of course. My god was it ever good. She even went to the trouble of Christmas pudding with hard sauce. Ron found it quite unusual but he was a good sport and claims to have liked it.
Now I need to get moving to burn off those calories!

We all had such a big breakfast around noon then spent the afternoon nibbling on cookies and candy, that we were not ready for Kenny to grill the steaks until around 5. He had marinated them in a combination of Chipotle mayo and Worchestershire sauce and they were delicious.

Turkey and dressing, honey baked spiral ham, green bean casserole, broccoli and rice casserole, potatoes with cheese, deviled eggs, gumbo(I'm allergic to seafood, so I couldn't eat any*pouting*)rice, lima beans, chocolate pies, coconut pies (2 with plain sugar & 2 with Splenda, so Daddy can enjoy also because he is diabetic!!)gooey cake (yes Sharon's gooey cake!! Thanks Sharon for the recipe!!Ladybug made it and it was delicious!!)we also had what we all the pink stuff!lol Ladybug makes this too it is coolwhip, cherries, pineapple, Eagle brand milk and pecans whipped up together. It is delicious and it is just not the holidays around here without the pink stuff!!lol!! We had a wonderful day and enjoyed spending time with all of my family. John's family doesn't celebrate the holidays because they are Jehovah's Witnesses, so we just spend the day with my family.
