Yours is really beautiful playtime, pity it wasn't a larger photo to show it off more :-D ...and Calomaar, ok so it isn't yours, but what a great tree, I think that definitely beats my 400 lights Kuntrygal, I just love your tree and the unusual decorations, especially the snowman on the top, makes a change from a fairy ....oh, of course and the roosters Keep them coming please :-D

Our tree is up, three days before we normally decorate it. Blame it on our relatives. This is what it looks like, decorated in the tradition of Norway with a star on top, flags, balls and the hand-made paper hearts:

Thank you. No, they didn't, but if we weren't hosting the family pre-Christmas do this year the tree would still be sitting outside, waiting for attention.

Lovely tree Droopy. You folks did such a nice job trimming it. I like the norwegian style--it is very similiar to the way we do it, especially with a star on top and prezzies underneith. The valences (is that the correct word?)look nice and are attractively-coloured (for any time of year). Kuntrygal and Playtime--your's look smashing as well. Nice colours and ornaments. You guys really know how to make things festive. Well done.
My families trees decorations are ones that our 2 beautiful children have made us thru kindergarden till the present. this is one with the flash and the other is to show the lights. They are teenagers so most of the homemade decorations are done with but there are alot of memories on that tree.
That is a beautiful tree Richard. I know what you mean about memories, we still have little tree decorations given to me by my grandson when he was in primary school. He is now 21
Lovely tree, PD. We've also got hand made ornaments from the girls. It adds a special touch to the tree. I like things like that.
