I have plenty of "crawdaddy castles" here also. Not as many as that picture. Some are so big that when they dry up in summer you can break a leg tripping on those things. We've seen crawdaddy claws in the screech owl box.
Ah, but there are some big advantages to living in the subtropics. We can grow tropical plants with abandon. And we can throw a seed on the ground and must jump back or it will hit us in the chin.
