Droopy---I think I have a similar thing that has happened with my Japanese irises. A new iris has appeared, but I am unsure which are the parents. One is clearly a white, the other I don't know. The first photo is of the new iris, albeit beginning to wilt a little. Please excuse the slightly out of focus photos. I was taking the pix just at dusk. Here is the new iris ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) I am guessing this is one parent ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Option 1 for parent #2 ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Option 2, for parent #2 ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Option 3 for parent #2 ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) A shot of the collection. The new iris is on the other side of the fence. Droopy I think you have started a trend!
