    Droopy---I think I have a similar thing that has happened with my Japanese irises. A new iris has appeared, but I am unsure which are the parents. One is clearly a white, the other I don't know.

    The first photo is of the new iris, albeit beginning to wilt a little. Please excuse the slightly out of focus photos. I was taking the pix just at dusk.

    I have grown these irises in this location for at least 8 years and this is the first time a hybrid has appeared. Droopy I think you have started a trend!
