Daily poisonous plant.

    Such a beautiful plant that I wouldn't have known was poisonous. This topic is one that I'm learning from and will stash away for future reference.

    Kildale, Do you have a picture of the whole plant of the poison hemlock. Even though I know what it looks like, I think the whole plant picture would be a good idea, too. I would never look at the flower on the plant and identify it from your picture.

    Poison hemlock tends to grow near or in swampy boggy areas, too. They don't tolerate dry ground around here. I have only seen them in or near really wet ground.

    Today we have one taken in the mountains, Zigadenus elegans, Mountain Death-Camas. Nice looking flower.

    I agree the flower is very attractive and I wouldn't know from just looking at it that it was in the least harmful.
