Daylight savings time

    I'll probably spend the extra hour GRIPING about it. It makes no sense to me to have long, hot, endless summer days when we could use the extra daylight hour in the winter better. Grrrrr.

    I remember that when I was working I left for work in the dark, and returned home in the dark, during the two or three darkest months of the winter. If I had a choice I'd like the extra light in the evening, however, I know that the kids at the bus stops in the morning probably are more deserving of that extra hour of light. What is strange, is living close to the dividing line between time zones, keeping appointments straight can be a task. But that's a whole different story.
