    Thank you toni.

The star in the window is a must in every home, except for those who don't celebrate. Also straw decorations with red ribbons, and Christmas curtains. I forgot to photograph the kitchen window!

The second plant is a small Heuchera. I forget which one, but I can see there's still a label in there.

Very nice decorations...I hold dear quite a few of the decorations I have and I will keep them as long as I can...the season is coming so fast, I am not sure I will ever get everything out of the boxes to display...if not, maybe next year..

Droopy, I'm not very computer literate so I'm trying to get this right. Let's see if third time's a charm.

These are the little bear trees from 2005 and 2006. I haven't taken any from this year yet.

We've been setting up little bear trees for over 20years now and each year they are a bit different and there are more and more bears. This year I downsized because we didn't have the space for the big board we usually put it on. The bears have gotten smaller also. dooley

Beautiful decorations, I especially love the traditional straw-and-red-ribbon ones.

    Thank you.

Dooley, your bear tree is adorable. It must take you forever to arrange, it's so neat and two very different ones. Can't wait to see this year's tree. :D

Biita, I'd love to sit down with you by that table. Your kitchen looks so christmassy, cozy and welcoming.

Say Biita.... are Nisse the same as what we call kabouters here?...or are the klabouters gnomes, actually?
Those Nisse dolls are quite well-made. It's nice to see what they look like. Thanks.

Sjoerd the nisse is a gnome character/troll. he can be helpful or very bad. but he's a little guy.

you can buy nisse's in all sizes here. or make your own. i bought mine.
