We have had some problems with mice in the roof space so I have been up there dealing with it. Guess who decided she would like to help me? ( photo / image / picture from Palustris's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Palustris's Garden )
My cat gets car sick when I take her to the vet, I am hoping she grows out of it as the years pass. The cat before this one would meow for about 45 minutes to the vet and home...it was a very disturbing time for her and me. Now with this cat I have a closer vet so I can stay relaxed and only have to worry about her getting sick in her kennel, not in my car. I bet she can hear them up there and would very much like to help you out...it would tire her out chasing them.
This is the best..It's as though she can see them right through the wood. I'll bet she can hear them.....   Let her in there, she'll show you how it's done....
I don't think we would ever see her again. The mice are in the space between the roof and the ceiling, rather than in the loft. Impossible to get at them, except by either taking the roof tiles off or cutting through the ceiling. If she went down there she would be stuck. And she could get into our neighbours loft too and I know they have put poison down, so not a safe place for her. She was actually watching a fly which had come down from the loft when I went up there this morning.
