Did enjoy Hall and Oates cover on that. It is a hard song to mess up. It is such great material. Still like the Brothers best though. dr
The surfer fairies are beside themselves with joy. You haven't lived untill you see someone screaming bubbles. They said to thank you, and they will teach you how to surf.
There is a song on the Peter Paul & Mary Album, "Around the Campfire", entitled "Garden Song". I believe it is also on another of their albums, "Peter Paul and Mommy, too". It fits well into the Gardenstew theme and one that I often enjoy singing along with. Calomaar
Hi Calomaar, unfortunately I wasn't able to find that one but here is another track from the same album, "500 Miles"
Thanks Frank, I wondered if that one would be there. 500 miles is another of there good sing alongs. When ever I'm alone in the car for any length of time, I pop in a Peter Paul & Mary CD to sing along with. Bare in mind that I said alone in the car. Another I like is Manhattan Transfer. Can you find Java Jive ??? It's # 14 on Their "The very best of Manhattan Transfer" Album. Calomaar
Thanks again, Love hearing them most any time. Can't sing along this time though, Deputy would likely howl along, and we would frighten the ice fisherman out on the lake. Not to mention Mrs. "A". Calomaar.
Love Manhatten Transfer. Saw them live in New York too many years ago. My request is for the voice from the 60's that I miss the most. The big, big voice of-- Cass Elliot- Dream a Little Dream Of Me
Hi D J Frank. Manhattan Transfer brought to mind another really fine group--- The HI-LO'S "Small Fry"
