I'm going to buy more ice melt. And we're cutting even more firewood. Weather dudes said it's going to be lot colder. Maybe new long-johns :D And want to get heated bird bath.Adding even more insulation to crawl space ceiling-right under my living room.

Since my last post, I have cleaned out the high tunnel tomato crop and was able to make 27 qts of veg. juice and I also put up 18 qts of apple pie filling, made 50 qts of concord grape juice concentrate 12 qts of apple juice concentrate and dried all my herbs from the garden, I still have peppers out in the high tunnel and across the road to pick, if they survived the frost last night. I should stock up on dog and cat food, but it is so bulky, I am not sure I have the room nor do i want the worry of drawing mice into the house with the bags in the garage. The chicken grain started to get moldy the last time I stocked up on it, so I am not sure if I want to risk the waste of that again and the mill isn't very far from us, either. We still need to get another 3-4 cords of wood cut and split (uhg, groan, aches and pain) and stacked.
