Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. I am feeling better today. I feel a little like I've been ran over by a truck though. Muscles are sore, joints hurting. Flu does this? I slept most of yesterday and 13 hours last night so should be awake more today. I think I will stay home again today though. I did have a flu shot, too. Dooley

Hi Dooley, glad you are feeling a bit better. The flu shot you got was based on the strain of influenza going around last year and there are hundreds of flu strains out there so getting the shot sometimes doesn't keep you from getting the flu. DR said it was a stomach flu (viral gastroenteritis) and there is no shot for that one but it does share symptoms with the regular flu.
