excuse me adding a note hear but although I new that cardamon & nutmeg were different spices I have never heard or seen 'green nutmeg' here in the uk, what is it used for?
'Elettaria cardamomum Maton' AHA That must be where we get the name elachi from. In SOuth Africa it is known as Karamonk or elachi.
