Info on the heat inside the costume....it's HOT! But they take a break every 10-15 minutes to take the head off, drink a lot of water and have a fan on them. At camp they learn how to be over expressive...wave their arms in grand gestures, do some cute dance steps, walk different ways and most importantly they have to not talk while in costume. My grandson has his mascot performance at the first football game of the school year tomorrow night. He is a little nervous but very excited. Mascot camp and Cheerleader camp is a big thing for high schools and colleges. When he was there in July his group was just one of several from around the country.
