    Re: sandstorm

Biita, can I nick that first picture?
Also, about how far above the horizon does the sun stay when it is up 24/7 during the summer?

Ahhhhh, I well remember the days of damp towels stuffed at the bottom of windows and doors, dusting the furniture/writing my name in the dust/dusting the furniture/writing my name in the dust, in the same spot all in a timespan of under 30 seconds and the feeling of chewing on sandpaper when you ate.
Nope, don't miss that at all.

    'nother

We another small sandstorm today. It's our surest sign of Spring in West Texas. But the wind will slow way down and then the sun will warm us up every day and we'll have 20% humidity. We can easily sit outside in the shade in the day & be comfortable and in the evenings, it's just plain wonderful to be in West Texas! I will tolerate sandstorms, because the Summer and Fall are so great here.

Toni, help yourself,, any pic i post is far game as far as i'm concernd... there for everyone. Well the sun will be about the height of the lower pics,, but just go straight across,, like its makeing its own horizon,, it in plain sight even from the farm. that little strip of land that is the end of the fjord it floats right across there, a good ways up from it.
