Love, love, love PBS! I watch it often. If some of these shows are not British, I apologize.....they were shown on PBS. I remember all of the older shows. When I was in school, a lonnnngggg time ago, I would rush home from school to watch the Mouseketeers! I had a very serious crush on Annette Funicello, along with millions of other teenage boys!
I beliesve that I saw every M*A*S*H show ever made. My boys lived on reruns until they were out of high school. Maybe they still do. Brian has fond memories of Annette also, back before she became the peanut butter queen. Dooley Oh, we just disconnected our TV. Too many shows we didn't watch. It just wasn't worth it. Dooley
A thousand apologies Frank, i didnt see this forum. Does this mean that me and GP can talk BB7, without boring everybody else? More importantly GP, this could be a great way for me to get updated when i miss out cos of work 3 days to gooooooooo. Eileen, its the oddballs that make the show for me,i adored kemal in BB6, he was just so pretentious and loved the camera. What a pratt Lucky for me i have satellite, so i can watch it all day everyday, so if im not here, you know where i am, i spent many a night on the couch last time Catkins
I am television-challenged for things more recent - I watched it some when I was growing up (Bonanza, Speed Racer and Knight Rider come to mind) but once I hit college I didn't really watch it anymore. My kids watch the PBS stuff (I still love the Mr. Rogers factory tours)... I find I really enjoy the older shows on dvds, where you don't have the commercials to deal with. We have the entire Muppet Show collection and borrowed three seasons of Gilligan's Island from friends and so enjoyed them! We also have several seasons of MacGyver and StarGate SG-1. I grew up with Monty Python's Flying Circus too, my dad always watched it - good fun.
