Hi all, don't worry I am still listening and taking all suggestions into account :) Since the pattern that appears to be emerging is that members like the old pot because of its 'quirkiness' I have attempted to add quirkiness back in as much as I could.

An explanation of what I changed:

    - I made the pot look more pot-like, in fact as close to the 3D look of the old one as possible in the current position.
    - I added more personality to the flowers to convey that we are a friendly and 'quirky' bunch ;)
    - Added more colours to look less drab.
    - There are two flowers in the pot because I thought one looked lonely and we are a community.

One of the other reasons I removed the pot from above the word Stew is that the '.com' part of the logo is going and the logo would look quite lop-sided on the right hand side if the pot was still there. You may then notice that it is lop-sided towards the left now but that's ok because it is by the left hand side of the page.

I have been glancing over other gardening community logos on other sites and I think this would stand out if displayed alongside then because of a) it's quirkiness and b) the name GardenStew gets you thinking.

I think we are making real progress, see for yourself :)

Yep, I like the new quirkiness. Are the letters a tad smaller for a reason? The name GardenStew looks a little out of proportion to the pot now.

I like the pot better than the first new one, it looks like my gumbo pot. I still like the old one, but this would work.

Yes I like the last one too Frank as long as the letters are going to be slightly more in proportion to the pot. Well done that Gnome!!! :-D

Thanks for all the kind words all, I'm glad we seem to have agreed upon the new logo. I also thank you for all your suggestions as they pushed me further and we got a much better logo out of it in the end :smt023: The fact that it was mentioned as t-shirt worthy was an absolute bonus (thanks Critter ;)) I will upload the new logo tomorrow so that you can enjoy a few more hours of the old one.

You know we're going to have to name then eventually  ;)
