Yum! I tried to find another one yesterday . . . but only found acorn squash which are also good . . . I guess I will have to try another store. Thanks for all the ideas for my newly discovered veggie . . .
we too grow lots of spaghetti squash too. hubby loves it! i learned a new way to cook it last year without water. i just cut in half, lengthwise or width, sprinkle some olive oil on it and turn the halves upside down on a cookie sheet and bake at 325 till it becomes tender...along with the squash, i roasted onions, garlic, mushrooms and peppers. delish!
I grow it every year.We love it and It has numerous ways to prepare it.I cut mine in half lengthwise. Put soft veggie spread in the center once the seeds are removed salt and pepper cover put in microwave until a fork stick into very easy are place in oven at 350 degrees, cover until it sticks easy. Its good this way are prepare it like a bake potato with all the trimmings shredded cheese ,margerine, chives, bacon bits, and sour cream. Its very good this way. I cooked it when Dooley and Dr visited me and they loved it dr for sure.
YUMMY!!! I will have to try these new recipes!!!! Sorry I haven't been on in a while . . . I have been going through a lot lately...
