Well, I was going to a flower show in a few weeks but S-H has done such a great job presenting the Karachi Flower Show..... S-H do you know if in picture #90 those are tubers or some sort of trunk? If they are tubers, is there a reason for not burying them? Jerry
Well Jerry, I doubt if they are Tubers (as they were (I think) kept in the expensive plant section). My guess is that they were some of those strange new plants, brought over from Socotra Island. Anyway, I did not buy much of anything, as I was too busy taking pictures and filming. Well Bunkie, the man in pic-123 is carving out flowers from turnips (after which he dips them in different colored dyes)! See pic-122, as those are his final product. A lot of such artists were there at different times. Take for example pic-139, where you can have your sketch made by a cartoonist. Or pic-130, where you can have a washable tattoo of any type painted on your skin. Usually, these things are mostly there to keep the kids interested.
