Tom thank you for posting that poem. And actually come to think of it I think I know why I made the previous connection. I had an illustrated book of nursery rhymes when I was a wee barn. The Old Lady who Lived in a Shoe was there and also the crooked man. The illustration accompanying that poem did indeed (as far as I can recall) have a house that looked quite similar to the house Toni posted Aaah the interconnections of the mind. It was one of my favourite poems.
Frank, Quite possibly it was the same book that I had, as the bird house brought back a rush of childhood memories. Remembering all the old Mother Goose nursery rhymes, and others could be a long blog entry, or could produce a lot of forum responses.
